Description
An integral part of Day of the Dead celebrations, the sugar skull is placed on altars, or ofrendas, to memorialize the dead. This auction is for a mold to make 5 different sugar skulls in the shape of characters based on the drawings of 19th Century artist Jose Guadalupe Posada. All skulls have flat backs. Directions on how to make sugar skulls are on the back of the mold. The molds can also be used for chocolate or for soap. The skull mold itself measures about 2″ by 2″. A great craft project!
